Aadibloom Word Quest
Aadibloom operates Aadibloom Word Quest, listed on Google Play as “Word Quest: Word Search” and also referred to in the app as “Word Quest” or “Word Quest Kids.” It is an educational word game for children and families.
1. Accounts, advertisements, and information you provide
You do not need to create an account or sign in to play. The app does not contain advertisements, in-app purchases, public profiles, user-to-user chat, or user-content uploads.
The game does not ask players to enter their name, email address, date of birth, home address, payment details, or account credentials. It does not request access to contacts, the camera, microphone, photographs, or precise device location.
Automatic technical and usage data collection is described below. Not requesting personal details does not mean the app collects no data.
If a parent or guardian emails support, we receive their email address and any name, message, or attachment they choose to send. Please do not send a child’s personal information unless it is necessary to resolve a privacy request.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves game progress and preferences in Android’s private app storage. This information may include:
• The selected learning level, category, and round
• Completed rounds
• Words found and word paths
• Progress timestamps
• Sound settings
• Tutorial status
• Previously displayed announcements
• Notification-permission prompt status
The app may also store:
• Received app announcements
• Notification titles and messages
• Notification receipt times and read status
• Downloaded word-content files
• Downloaded content-version information
The notification inbox currently retains up to 30 entries on the device.
The app does not provide an Aadibloom account or an Aadibloom-operated cloud database for synchronizing saved game progress.
Android backup or device-transfer services may copy eligible app data according to the user’s device, Google account, backup provider, and system settings. Data may therefore be restored after reinstalling the app or transferring information to another device.
3. Technical information and Google services
The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Cloud Storage for Firebase, and Google Play services.
Google Analytics for Firebase may process app first-open events, sessions and engagement, screen or activity events, supported notification interactions, an app-instance identifier, app/device characteristics, and approximate location derived from IP-address information. The current version disables collection of the Android Advertising ID. The app does not request GPS or Android location permission for approximate location.
Firebase Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant app state, device and operating-system information, app version information, Crashlytics installation identifiers, and Firebase installation identifiers.
Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations may process installation identifiers, app package/Firebase App ID, SDK versions, OS/platform versions, language, country, and time zone to deliver configuration values and maintain the app.
Firebase Cloud Messaging is used for app announcements and update-related notifications and may process Firebase installation identifiers, messaging registration tokens, app-version information, and technical delivery/interaction information.
Cloud Storage for Firebase may provide downloadable word categories and word clues. Requests may include the requested content-file path, Firebase App ID, Cloud Storage SDK version, and technical network information. It is not used to upload saved game progress, learning results, photos, audio, or other user-created content.
Google Play is used to check for available app updates and handle optional or required updates. Installation and device identifiers may distinguish an app installation or device without revealing the player’s name and should not be assumed to be completely anonymous.
4. Internet access and content updates
Bundled word content, images, sounds, and animations can generally be used without downloading those files again. Depending on app version/configuration, the game may use bundled content, previously downloaded content, or download updated word categories and clues from Firebase Storage.
Turning off word-content downloads does not automatically turn off Firebase Remote Config, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play update checks, or the online Privacy Policy page.
5. Notifications and your choices
Users can allow or decline Android notification permission and manage notifications through Android Settings. Declining notification permission prevents system notifications from displaying but does not itself disable Firebase Cloud Messaging registration, Google Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Crashlytics, or locally stored notification inbox messages.
The current app does not provide an in-app switch for disabling Google Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
6. Data sharing and service providers
Information described in this policy may be processed by Aadibloom and by Google and its applicable service providers to operate connected services. Email sent to Aadibloom support is processed through the email provider used for that address.
Aadibloom does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, meet legal obligations, protect users/app security, investigate abuse or technical problems, or protect rights.
Service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country.
7. Children’s privacy and parental requests
Aadibloom Word Quest is designed for children and families. The game does not require a child to submit identifying details to play. Automatic service data described in this policy may still qualify as personal information under applicable laws.
Parents or guardians may contact Aadibloom to ask about information associated with their child; request access, correction, or deletion where applicable; or object to/request that further collection stop where applicable.
Because the app does not have player accounts, an email address alone may not identify installation-based records. Aadibloom will explain available options and lawful/technical limitations. Parents and guardians should not send unnecessary information about a child in support communications.
8. Retention and deletion
Users can reset applicable game progress from Settings. Resetting progress does not necessarily delete other preferences, notification history, downloaded word content, or information previously transmitted to service providers.
Android Clear storage/Clear data removes local app data. Uninstalling normally removes information stored by that local installation, although Android backup/device-transfer copies may remain or later be restored.
Firebase currently describes a 90-day retention period for crash traces and associated identifiers before beginning removal from live and backup systems.
Google Analytics retains user-level and event-level information according to Aadibloom’s Analytics retention configuration and deletion controls.
Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Cloud Messaging use installation-related identifiers. Firebase describes removal of applicable installation-identifier records from live and backup systems within 180 days after an applicable identifier-deletion API request.
Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, appropriate records, protection, disputes, and legal obligations.
9. Data security
Local app information is stored using Android’s private app storage. Google documents HTTPS or TLS protection for information transmitted by Firebase and Google Analytics SDKs. Aadibloom takes reasonable protective steps, but no device, network, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Privacy Policy website and external services
This Privacy Policy is hosted on the Aadibloom website. Opening this page sends ordinary web requests to Aadibloom's website hosting provider and internet infrastructure, which may include technical network, browser, and device information needed to deliver the page.
Links to Google policies and opening an email application take users to services governed by their own privacy policies and settings. The app does not read the user’s email inbox or contacts when opening the support-email composer.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Aadibloom may revise this Privacy Policy when app features, data practices, third-party services, or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will be published at the same Privacy Policy address with a revised Last Updated date. Where additional notice or consent is required, publishing an updated policy alone does not replace that requirement.
